"HR Metric" in the Organization menu brings together several workforce views on one page: Statistik (headcount, turnover, tenure), Tenure & Retention (including a good/bad/regretted-leaver breakdown), Staffing (HR staffing ratio, promotion rate, payroll cost) and — when enabled — **Survey reports** (formerly "DEI & engagement"). The tab was renamed and its content replaced on 2026-08-11: it now shows the same survey report (round picker, compare segments, eNPS card, response rate, OSA heatmap and area trend) already available on the survey module's own "Overview" tab, instead of the earlier DEI-specific segment table. The "Ändringar" (Changes) tab, which used to show a simple joiners/leavers list for a chosen date range with CSV export and printing, has been removed — the same underlying data (hire date, termination date) now drives the Tenure and Statistik views above instead.

**Click a KPI card to see the data behind it.** Most KPI cards on the Tenure & Retention tab (e.g. Avg. tenure, Retention rate, the good/bad/regretted-leaver split) and on the Statistik tab (Headcount, Turnover, Departments) are clickable. Clicking one opens a panel showing the formula in plain language and one row per employee (or department) that fed the number, with a button to export that row list to Excel so you can double-check the calculation yourself.

**HR staffing ratio — "Select people".** The HR staffing ratio counts what share of employees are marked as HR staff via the boolean "Är HR" custom field. Every newly-created organization now gets that field automatically (no more manual setup under Custom fields); an older organization that doesn't have it yet gets it created automatically the first time the "Select people" button on the HR staffing card is clicked. The button opens a searchable checklist of the whole workforce — check who's HR staff and click Save, instead of creating and filling in the field one employee at a time.

**Payroll cost and salary visibility.** The Staffing tab follows the same salary- and bank-account visibility rules as the Staff List: if an administrator has restricted who may see salaries, Payroll cost/mo shows "–" with the note "Salary figures are hidden for your role" for a role that isn’t allowed, and bank account numbers are never sent to the tab at all. The tab only fetches the fields it needs (name, email, hire and termination date, base salary and custom fields).

**Ask AI for a dashboard right on the page.** At the top of the page is the same AI field as on the Home page: describe in plain text what analysis you want to see (e.g. "show me the pay gap and turnover signal") and AI assembles a dashboard from the same predefined, already permission- and anonymity-safe building blocks described in [AI-generated dashboards](../dashboards/ai-compose) — no new search method is introduced, it's the exact same feature, just also available here directly. The field only shows when AI-composed dashboards are enabled for your organization, and is available to both administrators and delegated roles with the right permission.
