Under Settings → Chat integrations (admin, visible only when the feature is enabled for your organization) you can send notifications to a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel. Novro only sends outbound messages via an incoming webhook — no buttons or sign-in required.

Create a Slack webhook: go to api.slack.com/apps → create/select an app → Incoming Webhooks → turn on → "Add New Webhook to Workspace" → pick a channel → copy the URL (it starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/…).

Create a Teams webhook: use Workflows (Power Automate), NOT the legacy O365 connectors (they are being retired). In Teams: … on the channel → Workflows → the "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" template → create → copy the generated URL (a logic.azure.com / Power Automate address).

Paste the URL when adding a connector, choose the platform, give it a label and tick which events to send: survey launched, survey reminder, survey closed (results ready) and access request. Use "Send test" to verify. "Remove" disables the connector immediately after a confirmation.

Important: the webhook URL is a secret (anyone holding it can post to your channel). It is encrypted at rest server-side and never shown again after you save it — to change it, edit the connector and paste a new one. Messages contain only aggregate information and a link into the app; no salaries, personal data, or survey results below the anonymity threshold are ever sent to chat.

**A limitation to know about:** an incoming webhook can only post to a WHOLE channel, never to one specific person. The chat message is therefore always a shared summary (e.g. title, recipient count, and — for survey reminders — responses so far, never below the anonymity threshold) and never contains anyone's personal, unique survey link. If you want each recipient to get their own link, use email or SMS (see Survey → Distribution).
