The results dashboard has an **“AI themes & sentiment”** card that summarizes the survey's free-text answers with AI. Instead of reading every individual answer, you get a handful of recurring **themes** (a short label, roughly how many answers touch the theme, and its dominant tone), an **overall sentiment split** (share of positive, neutral and negative), and a short summary.

**How it works.** The card is button-triggered — the analysis runs only when you click “Analyze free-text answers”, because each run makes an AI call. Switching survey round or department resets the result, so you re-run it for the new selection. The result is cached per survey and department, so re-opening the same view doesn't make a new call until the answers change.

**Anonymity.** The same anonymity threshold as the rest of the dashboard applies. Free-text answers are collected and sent to the AI model **only** when the filtered selection reaches the minimum group size; below the threshold nothing is shown and no text leaves the system. Only the answer texts themselves (with no sender — responses carry no identity) are sent as an aggregate input; no salary or other personal data is sent. The summary is aggregate and contains no verbatim quotes, so no single answer can be singled out.

**Who sees it.** Admins see the whole organization. A **manager** sees only their own part of the org tree (their node and below) — never another department's answers. Employees do not reach the card.

**AI provider.** The analysis uses the organization's configured AI provider (see “AI provider” in settings). This feature is optional and off by default.
