Dashboards – templates

On the Home page, an admin can pick from a set of ready-made templates that bring existing views together in one place, instead of navigating between several pages. The same page also offers a separate, optional way to describe the dashboard you want in your own words — see the AI-composed dashboards article.

A template is a fixed, code-defined set of widgets. Each widget is a thin wrapper around an already-existing, safe view — for example the pay-gap analysis, the DEI & engagement overview, or OKR progress. Widgets don’t do their own calculations or make any exception to the anonymity rules; they reuse the exact same server function the original page already uses, including its anonymity threshold (minimum group size) and organization scoping.

Available templates (more may be added in future versions):

  • Pay-gap overview – the organization’s overall pay gap, headcount, and average salary.
  • DEI & engagement – pay equity and engagement per department, plus the attrition-risk signal.
  • OKR progress – progress across the organization’s current objectives & key results.

If a widget’s underlying feature is turned off for your organization (for example the DEI dashboard isn’t enabled), that widget simply doesn’t appear in the template — it’s not an error, that part of the template just isn’t available right now. If the whole Dashboards feature is turned off, the Home page shows a simple “coming soon” card instead.

The page is admin-only: every widget shows exactly the same data an admin would already see on the widget’s original page, including every hidden/redacted cell below the anonymity threshold.
