DEI & engagement – overview

DEI & engagement – overview

When the DEI feature is enabled for your organization, admins get their own DEI & engagement menu in the sidebar. The page puts the organization’s pay-equity data next to the engagement results from the employee surveys — data the tool already holds, now shown side by side per segment.

What it shows. A row for the whole organization at the top, then three breakdowns: by department, by gender and by salary band. For each segment it shows headcount, the pay gap (women’s pay as a percentage of men’s), average salary, and — when a survey is selected — engagement (a 1–5 average across the survey’s areas) and eNPS.

Engagement can only be broken down by department. Survey responses never carry any identity — only which org node a response belongs to — so engagement and eNPS can’t be split by gender or salary band. Those cells are marked Not applicable (not hidden for anonymity, but because the breakdown structurally does not exist).

Pick a survey. In the top right you choose which survey the engagement numbers come from. Without a selected survey the full pay-equity view still renders; the engagement columns then read Not applicable.

Anonymity is the number-one rule. Every cell must clear the anonymity threshold (the organization’s minimum group size, default 5; a survey can set its own). A segment with too few people or too few responses is hidden entirely — no underlying numbers are even sent to the browser. The gendered pay comparison is shown only when both women and men independently reach the threshold, so a single person’s salary can never be derived from a group average.

The page is Admin-only and always shows only the caller’s own organization’s data.
