Learning & development – overview

Learning & development – overview

Learning & development brings together training/certification tracking for the organization. If the feature isn’t enabled for your organization, the page only shows a “Coming soon” placeholder. The page is role-branched: what you see depends on whether you’re an employee, a manager (a delegated role with manager-level access), or an admin.

Employee — “My training”. An employee sees their own training records and certifications in a list with course, provider, completion date, and status (Valid/Expiring soon/Expired). The Add record button opens a form for course name, provider, completion date, and expiry date — no attachments/receipts required. You can only delete records you added yourself; a record an admin or HR has verified can’t be removed from here.

Manager tier — “Team overview”. A manager (or a delegated role with equivalent employee-data access) sees their team’s training status in a table: name, role, status, and latest training, plus KPI cards for team size, share meeting requirements, expiring soon, and expired. Two additional cards can appear above the table:

  • Engagement nudge — if the team already has an OKR key result bound to a survey driver (the Survey driver source in the OKR module), this card shows whether that team’s engagement score is below a configurable threshold, with a prompt to consider targeted skills development. Anonymity guarantee: the card never shows a name or an individual employee’s score — only a team-level number, and only when the team is large enough to not risk anonymity (the same minimum group size used for survey results elsewhere in the app). If the team is too small, a neutral message shows instead of the number. If no such survey-driver binding exists yet, the card stays hidden entirely.
  • Development plan — Key Result — shows any OKR objectives whose key result is bound to this team’s training completion rate (see the OKR page’s own docs for “Development plan” as a source), so a manager sees the live-tracked goal right here without opening the OKR module.

Admin. The admin view has a compliance export card: Export CSV downloads every employee’s training status as a CSV file, and Print/PDF opens the browser’s print dialog with a clean report view. The export is built from the same data the team overview’s table already uses — nothing extra is fetched.
