Results Dashboard

Results Dashboard

The results dashboard shows eNPS (share of promoters minus detractors on a 0–10 question), a color-coded heatmap of work-environment areas (red–amber–green, with one inverted scale for “offensive behavior” so higher is always better), automatically detected “themes” from free-text answers tagged by area and tone, and a quotes card of selected free-text answers. Theme detection is a lightweight keyword pass, not real sentiment analysis — treat it as a pointer, not an exact measurement. Every segment is independently hidden if it falls below the survey’s anonymity threshold.

Who sees results. Admins see the whole organization. A manager can now self-serve their own part of the org tree (their node and everything beneath it) and drill into a sub-department in the heatmap — but never outside their own area, and always with the same anonymity threshold applied to the filtered pool. Employees do not reach the results dashboard.

Every survey, grouped by lifecycle. At the top of the dashboard, EVERY survey run in the organization is listed, grouped into four sections: Upcoming (scheduled, not yet open), Ongoing (open for responses right now), Finished, and Draft. A section with zero surveys isn’t shown at all. Each row shows the survey’s title and a status chip; clicking the row opens the new Survey Result screen (see its own help page) for that run. A row for an Upcoming or Ongoing survey (a “live” run) also gets three quick-action icon buttons on the far right of the row:

  • Extend window (Förläng fönster) — pushes back the survey’s closing date without creating a new round or affecting responses already received.
  • Send reminder now (Skicka påminnelse nu) — the same ad hoc non-responder reminder described above under “Non-responder reminders”; a confirmation dialog states exactly what will happen before it sends.
  • Close now (Stäng nu) — closes the survey immediately, ahead of its normal closing date. This is a destructive, permanent action: a confirmation dialog explicitly warns that no further responses can be submitted after this and that it cannot be undone. Responses already received are unaffected.

Clicking an icon action never also opens the row (and vice versa) — the two click targets are independent.

Grid — every department against every driver (toggleable). The toolbar’s view switcher (A/B) has a third mode — Grid — that shows ONE single table with every department the admin/manager can see as a column and every work-environment area as a row, colour-coded exactly like the regular heatmap. Unlike the regular compare heatmap (which only shows direct sub-departments, up to 8, fetched with one call per department), the grid is fetched in one single call and can show the whole org tree (or a manager’s whole area of responsibility) at once — a “which department is weak on which area” view. Every cell is anonymity-checked independently: a department below the threshold is listed (so the admin can see it exists) but with no numbers at all — a neighbor’s result never hides or leaks into another department’s cell. This feature is optional and off by default; the view switcher doesn’t even show the button when the feature is off.

Ranking results. A Ranking question (where respondents order the options from most to least preferred) gets its own card: every option is listed from most to least preferred, with its average placement (lower is better) and a bar showing what share of respondents put it in first place. Like the free-text answers, this card is built entirely from data the server has already anonymity-checked — it adds no new anonymity gate of its own, it just visualizes what was already sent.

Response rate (participation). The dashboard shows a response-rate card — how many people answered out of those invited (responded ÷ invited), broken down by round and by department. The card shows counts only, never who responded. Every cell (overall, round, department) is anonymity-checked on its own: when the number of responses is below the threshold, the responded count and the rate are hidden (shown as “—” with a lock) while the invited count remains as a coverage denominator. The card is shown even when results are hidden — the response rate is exactly what you need to see why results can’t be shown yet. A manager sees only their own part of the tree, just as for the other results.

Export the report (CSV and PDF). The report toolbar has two export buttons. Export CSV downloads the area averages, eNPS and response rate (counts and rate) as a semicolon-separated CSV tuned for Swedish Excel. Print / PDF opens the print dialog with a clean, print-friendly view where the navigation and buttons are hidden — choose “Save as PDF” for a PDF. The export runs entirely in the browser and includes only what is already on screen and above the anonymity threshold: every hidden (redacted) value is exported as “—”, never the underlying number.

Series trend and drivers (toggleable). When a survey belongs to a recurring series (the same series id across several rounds), the dashboard shows two extra cards: an area trend — each area’s score round-over-round in a color-coded matrix — and a driver analysis ranking which areas correlate most strongly with overall engagement (eNPS, or a composite mean). The ranking is computed only on aggregate area scores and needs enough completed rounds (at least three) to be meaningful; below that, no ranking is shown. Each round is anonymity-checked on its own — a round below the threshold contributes no scores (shown as a lock) and is never included in the driver analysis. When the series trend is on, the eNPS card also shows a round-over-round change sourced from this same series trend. This feature is optional and off by default.

Targets (eNPS and drivers). An admin can set per-organization targets under Settings → System Parameters → Survey Targets: an eNPS target (−100 to 100) and a target per driver area (1–5). When a target is set, the results dashboard shows a target reference with a delta indicator — how far the score sits above or below the goal, colored against the org’s own target (green when the target is met, red when below) — instead of just the absolute number. The eNPS target appears on the eNPS card and driver targets on the area-trend rows (compared to the latest non-redacted round). With no target set, no indicator is shown, and a hidden (redacted) value never gets a target reference. To clear a previously set target, just empty the field and save — the target is removed entirely (no reference is shown any more) and never lingers as 0. Targets only affect the display — they never change the anonymity threshold or the underlying scores.
